Back in June, French Montana told MTV News that he and Kanye West recorded five tracks for his new album. And his upcoming Yeezy-produced single sounds like it’ll be a star-studded affair.
“The next single, he actually produced it, with The Mekanics, together,” French said during an interview with Power 106 in Los Angeles. “It’s me, [Rick] Ross, [Lil] Wayne. It’s called ‘Gucci Mane.’ ”
The trio of French, Rozay and Weezy teamed up for “Pop That,” as well as “Marble Floors,” each of which was a single from the Morocco native’s debut album, Excuse My French. They’ll look to recapture the success of those hits for his follow up, Mac & Cheese 4, which is tentatively scheduled for a November release. And with Kanye on the beat, that sounds like a pretty sure bet.
“I love it,” French told us of his work with ‘Ye. “We’ve been working on his album and mines, so we’re just going back and forth.”
