Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe is going to return to a regular spot on TV after his seasonal special.
The series is set to air on BBC Two in early 2014 following Charlie’s hour-long Christmas and New Year round-up episode, Charlie Brooker’s 2013 Wipe.
According to Digital Spy, programme producers said: “Whether it’s news, or film, TV, or Twitter, if it’s making the agenda and it’s worth pointing a finger and laughing at Charlie will tackle it.
“And if there’s nothing to tackle, then expect lengthy chunks on the worst adverts or most pointless events.”
Returning to the series, which is written by Charlie, will be Doug Stanhope and characters Philomena Cunk and Barry S***peas.
Brand-new contributors Brian Limond and Jake Yapp will also be joining the show.
