‘Clueless’ Is Celebrating Its 20th Birthday In Style With A Soundtrack Reiussue On Vinyl

Clueless may be 20 years old, but if you ask us, the film is nothing short of timeless. For so many, Clueless is the ‘90s-era gift that simply keeps on giving: the slang, the quotes, the fashion. The borderline incestuous romance that still makes us swoon (because when your stepbrother is Paul Rudd, all bets are off).

Of course, there was also the music. What Clueless fan (aka, every girl alive) didn’t open her closet each morning to the tune of The Muffs’ “Kids In America?” Or at least wish that she did? Cher, Dionne, Christian, and the rest of the gang lived our teenage dream lives, and the music from the film– an eclectic mix of alternative, hip-hop, pop, and almost everything in between– was the ideal soundtrack.

Since its 1995 release, Clueless has remained a cult classic. So in honor of the film that shaped a generation, Universal Music Enterprises is reissuing the Clueless soundtrack on vinyl. That’s right, vinyl! Soon, you’ll be able to hold its nostalgic, sonic glory right in your very own hands.

Mark your calendars: the Clueless soundtrack hits national retailers April 7th. Plus, Urban Outfitters will be carrying an exclusive black-and-yellow plaid edition– to match your favorite Cher-style vintage skirt, of course.
