De Kock, de Villiers tons lift South Africa to 339



HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka (AP) — Opener Quinton de Kock and captain A.B. de Villiers each blasted centuries Saturday as South Africa reached 339-5 for its highest one-day international total against Sri Lanka in the third and final match between the teams.


De Kock struck 128 off 127 balls and de Villiers 108 off 71 to put South Africa in a good position for a series-deciding victory after the teams split the first two matches.


De Kock struck 12 fours and three sixes for his fifth century in 18 ODI games. De Villiers smashed 11 fours and four sixes for his 17th century.


Opener Hashim Amla (48) and Jean-Paul Duminy (29) also chipped in with useful scores.


Sri Lanka spinners Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis took two wickets each.
