Going On A Road Trip? Jack Antonoff Of Bleachers Made You A Mixtape!

Got big plans this weekend to steal a car and drive it as far as a tank of gas will take you? Or, better yet, got plans to roadtrip through Jersey? In addition to hitting Action Park (on a dare), and Asbury Park, Atlantic City and the Margate elephant, Cape May, the Crayola Factory and snapping a photo of the “Trenton Makes, The World Takes” sign (most passive aggressive sign ever!), you need to think about your driving music because a roadtrip soundtrack is CRUCIAL.

Thankfully Jersey native Jack Antonoff of Bleachers took some time out from nabbing the #11 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart with his excellent solo debut, Strange Desire to make all of you safe drivers and music lovers a Jersey road trip mix tape.

It’s a nine-song set (somewhere between an EP and an LP) expertly curated by Bergen County’s very own (and MTV Artist To Watch). It features songs by mostly all — OK, some — Jersey artists, (Tom Petty and Bryan Ferry notwithstanding), Bruce Springsteen, because hello, plus Spoon and Against Me, because they rule.

Check out Jack Antonoff’s New Jersey mix tape, and listen to his picks below.
