Nick Jonas channeled his inner hip-hop MC to claim the “Instaoke” crown on U.K. radio station Capital FM on Sunday (February 1).
The “Jealous” singer has played the radio show’s 15-second karaoke game before, but during his latest round, he really brought it.
First up was Sir Mix-a-Lot’s classic big booty anthem, “Back Got Back,” which enjoyed quite the resurgence last year thanks to the sample used in Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.”
Is it just us or was it completely mind blowing to hear Nick swag out when rapping the line, “I like big butts and I can not lie?”
Anyway, as if that weren’t enough, his almost cocky, head-nodding take on Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” totally took us to a happy place.
For the finale, he put his own harmonious stamp on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” crooning the chorus with that voice that invokes shrieks of joy in countless teenaged girls around the world.
