Twihards, Freak Out: The 6 New ‘Twilight’ Mini-Movies Have Finally Been Revealed

Today’s our lucky day, fellow Twihards — the six (!) “Twilight” mini-movies that were announced last September have officially been revealed, and let’s just say you guys really seem to love Alice Cullen.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the list of the six winning screenplays that will make up “The Storytellers: New Voices of Twilight Saga” project, which found female writers and directors contributing screenplay ideas for short films that would expand the franchise. There were 1,200 submissions to the project, but judge Stephenie Meyer — along with Lionsgate, Women In Film, Facebook and Volvo — have officially chosen their final six.

Here are the winners with some brief details, and be sure to check Tongal’s contest page for the full screenplays, which will be posted Tuesday night (February 3):

“The Groundskeeper” by Sarah Turi Boshear: “Follows Alice and the events that led to her becoming a vampire.”

“Sunrise” by Alanna Smith: “Tells Benjamin’s story.”

“Turncoats” by Lindsey Hancock Williamson: “About Garrett and Carlisle during the Revolutionary War.”

“The Mary Alice Brandon File” by Kailey and Sam Spear: “Focuses on Alice’s human life before she became a vampire.”

“Consumed” by Cullyn Doerfler & Megan L. Reese. “Tells Jane and Alec’s story.”

“We’ve Met Before” by Thea Green: “All about Alice and Jasper’s first meeting.”
