Billy and Phil Mitchell are set to clash over Lola Pearce’s relationship with Peter Beale.
Phil (Steve McFadden)is determined to keep the young lovers apart but they decide to defy him and continue their relationship.
The pair start looking for a place together so they can move away from the interference of their feuding families. Billy (Perry Fenwick) doesn’t want to lose his granddaughter and so he offers to let Peter (Ben Hardy) move in with him and Lola (Danielle Harold).
But this sparks a furious argument when Phil finds out and tries to make Billy change his mind. Billy is left having to choose between his loyalty to Phil and his duty to Lola.
Meanwhile, Terry Spraggan tries to win back Bianca Butcher and arranges a romantic meal together so they can talk things through.
But Bianca is still worried about how close he is to ex-wife Nikki, and when she interrupts Terry’s heart-to-heart, Bianca’s fears only seem to be confirmed.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, January 6 and Wednesday, January 8 on BBC One.
