“Glee” star Becca Tobin’s boyfriend, Matt Bendik, was found dead in their hotel room in Philadelphia on Thursday.
According to TMZ, the nightclub owner’s cause of death is unknown and “sudden,” with no signs of foul play or suicide attempts. Tobin, who plays Kitty Wilde on the FOX show, was with Bendik, 35, on a business trip.
On Wednesday, they were celebrating in town with friends, returned to their hotel, and on Thursday a maid found Bendik. It is unclear where Tobin was when he was found.
Bendik owned several nightclubs across the country, including Los Angeles’ DBA Nightclub and AV Nightclub, but he was not known as a partier.
Sunday marks a year since “Glee” star Cory Monteith died of mixed drug toxicity in 2013.
