Rapper Future has confirmed to Rolling Stone that he has worked out his differences with Drake and will join him on his upcoming tour. ”I am set to continue as planned with Drake and Miguel on the ‘Would You Like a Tour?’ tour, slated to begin on October 18th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,” he said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to hitting the road this fall. Love4Life Honest.”

Not long ago, Drake reportedly fired Future from the tour over remarks the latter made to Billboard about Drake’s latest album, Nothing Was the Same. The magazine quoted Future as saying, “Drake made an album that is full of hits, but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.” Upon publication, Future’s management argued that the quotes were taken out of context and were meant to be off the record. They were then removed from the online version of the article.

Billboard commented, “We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future’s recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused any trouble for the artist.”

Regardless of the context, Future’s comments angered Drake, according to the New York Post, and he then kicked Future off the tour. He later reconsidered and invited Future to return for less money. Future declined and reportedly threatened to sue Drake for more than $1.5 million over lost wages from the tour, as he was set to earn $40,000 per performance of the 39-date tour.

Future tweeted today that he is back in Atlanta prepping for the tour, which kicks off tomorrow in Pittsburgh. It will run through December 16th, when it ends in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
