Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are engaged after the rapper popped the question on her birthday.
Kanye, 36, marked the reality star’s 33rd birthday on Monday (October 21) by renting out the entire AT&T Park baseball stadium in San Francisco, and asking her to marry him in front of their family and friends, according to E! News.
The couple – who became parents to daughter North in June – have been friends for years, but began dating in April 2012.
Kanye kept the world guessing as to whether he would be able to celebrate Kim’s birthday with her as he attended the Hollywood Film Awards in Los Angeles earlier in the day, where he presented director Steve McQueen with a special honour.
But he flew back to San Francisco by private jet in time for his big proposal.
It will be Kanye’s first marriage, but Kim’s third. She married basketball played Kris Humphries in August 2011, but filed for divorce after just 72 days.
