Walking Dead pair 'reveal more'

The Walking Dead stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Danai Gurira have revealed how their characters will adapt in the new series of the show.

Sonequa joined the show about the fight for survival after a zombie apocalypse in season three with Chad Coleman, who plays her brother Tyreese.

But she revealed her character Sasha will become more independent in season four: “You are going to see her a little more on her own, you’re going to get to know her personally more. You’re not going to see her as much as a package with Tyreese. You get to know her for who she is and what she wants and hopes for and what’s she’s scared of. It’ll be good, it’s been a wonderful ride.”

Meanwhile, Danai, who plays loner Michonne, revealed her character is going to become more a part of the community of survivors.

She revealed: “You’re going to see that she’s adapting to the community. In last season you saw that she did choose to stay. She could disappeared again, but she chose to be around these people, chose to invest.

“She knows it’s good that she found these people.

“But Michonne is a loner, she likes to be in control on her own, so the question is how does she adapt?”

The new series of The Walking Dead will begin on Fox on Friday October 18 at 10pm.
