The computer screen, named UP2414Q, will cram in a 3840 x 2160 resolution onto a 24-inch IPS LED panel. While that’s high for a monitor and will be useful for graphic designers, it’s actually only 183ppi. Compared to some tablets and phones it might not sound that impressive. This could be due to safety reasons while being close working on a monitor. But it is better than most on offer now. Although Asus also has a 4K monitor.

The Dell UP2414Q has an 8-bit panel with Advanced Frame Rate Control to simulate 10-bit colour. It can handle frame rates of up to 30Hz on HDMI 2.0 and 60Hz via DisplayPort 1.2.
