Paddy excited about dating special

Paddy McGuiness has confessed he can’t wait to “have some fun” with the more mature ladies on a Take Me Out special episode.

The special edition of the hit ITV dating show will be aired as part of Text Santa on Friday December 20, raising money and awareness for six charities – Age UK, Barnardo’s, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.

Paddy revealed: “We’re doing an OAP special, and I got all the girls biogs through and all their photos and read up on them all and I tell you what – and I genuinely mean this – I cannot WAIT for that show!

“We have got a lady, she’s 88 years old called Alice, and she’s on a mobility scooter and we are going to have some fun me and Alice.”

He added: “I have always wanted to do one for the older generation. They have more life experience than all of us as they have been on the planet longer.

“I would love it if they found love, I really can’t wait and this gives it a little twist. It is nice as a special for Text Santa.”

The comedian and his model wife Christine Martin welcomed twins Leo and Penelope in July and Paddy admitted he can’t wait for their first Christmas.

He revealed: “Christmas is my favourite time of the year, but this year because of Leo and Penelope, because they’re so young we’ll see the family in the morning and then me and Christine and the kids are just going to have a lovely day on our own. Because I don’t want to bring twins round somebody’s house and go ‘Do you mind turning the telly down, they’re having a kip!’

“They’ll be six months by then. Leo is totally obsessed with twinkly lights and stuff. I’m just going to buy a fibre optic tree and stick it on in the corner.”
