Appeal After Murderer Goes Missing From Prison



An appeal has been launched after a murderer who was released from prison on a temporary licence went missing.



Avon and Somerset Police said Mark Stoner-Seed, 52, was allowed out of HMP Leyhill in south Gloucestershire on Friday, but failed to return at a designated time.



He was serving a life sentence for murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and arson with intent.



Stoner-Seed is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of large build. He is bald and has blue eyes.



:: Police warned the public not to approach him. Any sightings should be reported to police by calling 101.
