Paging all “Grey’s Anatomy” fans: Dr. McDreamy is officially back on the market.
Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian Fink, are divorcing after 15 years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Fink filed the divorce papers, citing irreconcilable differences. She’s reportedly seeking joint custody of their three children, 12-year-old Talulah Fyfe and 7-year-old twins Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick.
“It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement to Us Weekly. “Our primary concern remains the well-being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
The couple tied the knot in July 1999. It was Dempsey’s second marriage — he was previously wed to actress Rocky Parker from 1987 to 1994.
People Magazine reports that the 49-year-old actor was at a racing event in Daytona Beach, FL, when Fink filed for divorce.
