Factions unite!

MTV has announced that Ellie Goulding and Zedd will be performing songs from the ““Divergent” soundtrack live at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

The selections include Goulding’s big single from the soundtrack “Beating Heart,” and Zedd’s “Find You.”

“When I found out ‘Find You’ would be part of the Divergent Soundtrack I was beyond stoked,” Zedd said. “Getting to perform the song live at the MTV Movie Awards with Matthew and Miriam is a total thrill we’re really looking forward to sharing with the fans!”

While “Divergent” has already attained blockbuster status, it will have to wait a year to secure its own MTV Movie Award nominations. In the meantime, the live performances from the movie’s top-selling soundtrack are sure to please fans of all factions.

Music fans should also be excited to see some newer talent get a big stage as MTV Artist to Watch twenty one pilots will perform their new single “Car Radio” at the award show.

The band absolutely demolished the stage at the 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards, so you can definitely expect a huge performance on this even bigger stage for the up-and-comers.
