Artists can usually expect critics to bestow pretty unfavorable reviews on their projects, but it’s pretty rare that another artist will actually step up to dole out criticism on their peer’s albums. Things are different when Tyler, The Creator is involved though.
This week the Odd Future rapper was blatantly honest about his feelings on Eminem’s latest release Shady XV. He took to Twitter early Friday morning to share a few words about the album, and later deleted them.
“I love you Marshall, you are my favorite rapper, but dude ‘ShadyXV’ is f—ing ASS,” Tyler tweeted, then adding. “Hahaha, why won’t someone who loves him tell him NO.”
Hey, at least he pointed out that he was going to delete those tweets afterwards.
ok now im gonna delete everything goodbye

We know that Eminem respects Tyler’s movement though. So hopefully it’s all good. Hear him give his take on their music in the video below, during a chat with MTV’s “RapFix Live.”
