Zimbabwe fined for slow over rate vs Bangladesh

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Zimbabwe has been fined for falling one over short of the minimum rate during the fourth one-day international against Bangladesh on Friday in Mirpur.

The elite panel of ICC match referees imposed the fines after the side, led by Elton Chigumbura, was ruled to be short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

Chigumbura was fined 20 percent of his match fee, while his players received 10 percent fines.

Bangladesh won the match by 21 runs and leads the series 4-0. The fifth and last ODI is on Monday.
