This Is What Charli XCX’s ‘Boom Clap’ Sounds Like In Japanese

To promote the Japanese release of her new album on February 18, Charli XCX has re-recorded translated versions of her Sucker singles “Boom Clap” and “Break The Rules.”

Warner Music Japan posted snippets of the two tracks on YouTube, so enjoy.

Here’s “Break The Rules.”

And now, let’s check out “Boom Clap.”

So, how do you say “Boom Clap” in Japanese?” The same way you say it in English: “Boom Clap.” You’re on your own with the rest of the translation, though, since I never made it past the emergency phrases section of Rosetta Stone back in 8th grade (tasukete!).
