Unlucky Baby Prepares For Lifetime Of Shared Birthday Parties With Both Her Parents

We’ve all heard the woes of those December babies whose birthdays butt up against the winter holidays. Next time they remind us that giving a “combination” gift for Christmas and a birthday is just the tiniest bit uncool, we can point to one poor soul who has it even worse: little Autumn Stover.

Just one day old at this point after an exciting January 1 birthday, baby Autumn has no idea what she has ahead of her. Not only will she face the dreaded holiday proximity problem and have to endure all those jokes about how her birthday is easy to remember, she shares her day of birth with both of her parents.

A local Denver Fox affiliate found that New Year’s baby Autumn is daughter to two more New Year’s babies, Raheen and Qiana Stover.

Dad Raheen told Fox that everyone will get their own cake next year.

“Somebody’s going to have to celebrate theirs on the 31st,” he said. “And then somebody’s going to have to go exactly on the first, and then maybe somebody might have to take the second, but eventually we’ll just all celebrate together.”

A shared birthday party with both of your parents the day after the year’s traditional party night, for the rest of your life? Lucky you, baby Autumn. Lucky you.
