X Factor's Mel B ready for 2015

Mel B has said she’s ready for the New Year and is going to “make 2015 count” after a tough few weeks.

The X Factor judge was forced to shoot down rumours that her husband Stephen Belafonte was violent towards her after she was absent from the first part of the show’s final due to a mystery illness.

But Mel revealed online that she has put all the drama behind her and is ready to move forwards, posting a picture on Twitter of herself and her two youngest children, saying: “Good morning ma peeps of 2015, bring it on!!”

She said in another message: “Stand proud in the skin your in no matter what people think or say about you!! Make 2015 count yippppeee.”

Mel and Stephen saw in the New Year on a double date.

He shared a picture of the foursome on Instagram and wrote: “Nye 2015 with my baby @officialmelb and one of my best buddies and his lovely wife!! #bigdogstatus.”

They weren’t the only couple enjoying a romantic New Year celebration, with Britney Spears among those posting pictures of themselves with their other halves.

The pop princess shared a video message of herself and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol seeing in 2015 with mugs of hot chocolate instead of booze.

“Hot chocolate beats champagne everyday! Happy new year everyone. May your year be blessed with joy!” wrote the Toxic singer.

Miley Cyrus shared a snap on Instagram of herself puckering up to her new man Patrick Schwarzenegger, while One Direction hunk Zayn Malik and his fiancee Perrie Edwards posted pictures of themselves all dressed up for a costume party.

Zayn was channelling Johnny Depp as he was dressed as movie character Edward Scissorhands, while singer Perrie was wearing a black wig and dramatic jewellery and make up as Cleopatra.

Several celebs jetted off abroad to ring in 2015, with Simon Cowell enjoying his usual break in Barbados and Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux sunning themselves in Cabo San Lucas, where they met up with celebrity friends including Jimmy Kimmel and George Clooney and his wife Amal.

Salma Hayek and Rihanna were among those heading for St Barts, where the singer was one of several stars who celebrated at rapper P Diddy’s annual New Year’s Eve party on a luxurious yacht.

Meanwhile, Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright returned to Dubai for the holidays, which is where they first fell for each other in 2011.

The couple, who are engaged, were spotted looking smitten as they dined at Le Royal Meridien hotel’s Zengos restaurant.

Michelle posted a picture of the pair on Instagram and wrote: “Happy New Year everyone… 2015, we’re ready!!!”
